Society of Actuaries is the world’s largest actuarial society in terms of global membership, and also at the same time probably the largest contributor to the worldwide development and growth of the actuarial profession.

Both their local and international teams have a buzzing calendar, with events, support activities and institutional/ academic visits throughout the year around the globe.

Since 2022, the SOA has been organising a Regional Symposium in the Middle East to create better awareness on the actuarial profession and build bridges with local actuarial communities and aspiring actuaries as well as financial institutions.

This year’s symposium is hosted in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Tahrir Square, in the heart of historic Cairo.
