Job brief
We’re looking for a front-end developer to translate user-friendly designs into crisp code and thoughtful experiences for our customers. This person will work alongside our web team to determine customer needs, brainstorm solutions, generate website mockups and prototypes, present work to customers, and develop and optimize live platforms.
Responsibilities
Create design- and user-focused experiences
Build personalized and customized features for users
Build responsive layouts that adapt seamlessly across various screens and devices
Integrating with APIs to fetch and display data
Collaborate with web designers and back-end developers to complete projects
Create wireframes and mockups of site/application designs
Develop standardized code that can serve as the foundation of future projects
Turn feedback into custom solutions for client needs
Optimize sites/apps to improve performance and efficiency
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Author technical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or software engineering
- Two or more years in front- or back-end development
- Experience in building functional and effective platforms
- Fluency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience using Front end Frameworks (React, React Native)
- Additional experience of backend languages and frameworks would be beneficial (PHP, Python, Django)
- Proficiency in using version control systems (Git, Github)
